What Does the INFINITI Powertrain Warranty Cover?

A parked SUV with an INFINITI powertrain warranty

One of the best aspects of buying a new INFINITI model from our dealership is the reassuring INFINITI powertrain warranty. It’s one of the most generous in the luxury car segment and ensures that your vehicle is protected against unexpected mechanical failures, as it spans six years or 70,000 miles. The team at Southwest INFINITI helps you understand how exactly this protection plan provides reassurance for the long haul.

Unmatched Powertrain Protection

The powertrain warranty is designed to cover the most expensive components of your INFINITI vehicle. If a defect in materials or workmanship occurs within the coverage period, INFINITI will repair or replace parts of the engine, transmission, and transaxle at no cost to you. This includes internal components like the cylinder block, oil pump, torque converter, and transfer case, making sure that your car’s ability to move is never altered by errors in the manufacturing process.

Comprehensive Basic Coverage

The INFINITI powertrain warranty is only one aspect of your vehicle’s overall warranty protection. Beyond the powertrain warranty, every new INFINITI model comes with a Basic Limited Warranty that lasts for four years or 60,000 miles. This policy protects almost every other part of the vehicle, including the climate control system, electrical systems, and infotainment features. Additionally, there is a 7-year/unlimited-mileage Corrosion Limited Warranty, guarding your exterior panels against rust perforation.

Reassuring Roadside Assistance

Finally, all new INFINITI models include 24-hour roadside assistance for the first four years of ownership. Whether you need a flat tire change, jump start, or emergency fuel, help is just a phone call away.
